We score every suite across six weighted criteria. The method rewards tools that reduce buyer uncertainty: clearer evidence, owned remediation, realistic coverage and fewer pricing surprises.
Open-rating scores, confidence labels, receipt types, caveats and source links are published as machine-readable JSON. The dataset mirrors the visible vendor rating cards and uses the same freshness date as the site.
Independence note: Shielda is included where it helps compare SMB evidence and remediation workflows. It is not treated as the default winner; published scoring criteria, visible gaps, source notes and pricing caveats stay in charge.
Acceptance rule: no tool purchase creates compliance by itself. Read every recommendation as a workflow fit, then verify legal scope, implementation evidence and current vendor terms directly.
Editorial buyer guide, not legal advice. Verify vendor pricing and terms before buying. Compliance depends on implementation, evidence ownership and remediation.
